About Solgar Fish Oil Concentrate 1000 mg<\/h2>\n

The omega-3 fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) occur naturally in oily fish and fish oil. This concentrated fish oil provides 1000 mg of oil per softgel, of which 160 mg EPA and 100 mg DHA \u2013 260 mg of omega-3 in total per daily dose.<\/p>\n

EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart (260 mg per softgel). 1000 mg of fish oil concentrate per softgel, only one softgel a day needed \u2013 from non-endangered fish species.<\/p>\n

The fish oil is derived from non-endangered species \u2013 anchovy, sardine and mackerel \u2013 and is a practical option if you eat little or no fish. Vitamin E (natural mixed tocopherols) has been added to protect the oil from oxidation, that is, to stop the omega-3 fatty acids going rancid.<\/p>\n
