Product Details
Lineage Animal-Based Complete Protein Chocolate
The chocolate version of Lineage’s protein powder, sweetened with organic coconut sugar alone. Each scoop provides 20 g of complete protein from grass-fed milk and whey protein concentrate, together with 800 mg of freeze-dried organs, 250 mg of colostrum and an organic berry blend. The flavour comes from organic alkalised cocoa, not from flavourings.
About Animal-Based Complete Protein Chocolate
Most chocolate protein powders hide cheap raw materials behind flavourings and sweeteners. Complete Protein Chocolate does the opposite. The chocolate flavour comes from organic alkalised cocoa, the sweetness from organic coconut sugar, and the protein from grass-fed milk and whey protein concentrate. Added to that are freeze-dried organs, colostrum and real fruit.

Cocoa is known for potentially containing heavy metals. Lineage tested more than twelve suppliers, chose the one with the lowest levels and continues to test on an ongoing basis. The cocoa is organic and Rainforest Alliance certified.
The 800 mg organ blend consists of heart, liver, kidney, spleen and pancreas. That is nutrition most people never get from an ordinary diet, and it is freeze-dried at low temperature rather than processed chemically. Colostrum from grass-fed cows adds immune factors.
The protein base is concentrate rather than isolate, which means more of the milk’s natural content remains. The combination of milk and whey protein gives both fast and slow absorption, which benefits recovery and keeps you full for longer. If you would rather have an unflavoured version, there is Complete Protein Original.

What is the difference between the milk protein and the beef protein?
Both provide 20 g of complete grass-fed protein with the same 800 mg organ blend, the same 250 mg of colostrum, the same raw material requirements and the same tests. The milk version is built on milk and whey protein concentrate, dissolves more easily and tastes milder. The beef version is Lineage’s original recipe with beef protein isolate.
What does Chocolate taste like?
A rich chocolate flavour from organic alkalised cocoa, sweetened with organic coconut sugar alone. No artificial sweeteners. The powder dissolves smoothly in both water and milk.
Is the cocoa organic and low in heavy metals?
Yes. The cocoa is organic, Rainforest Alliance certified and sustainably grown. Cocoa can contain heavy metals, so Lineage tested more than twelve suppliers, chose the one with the lowest levels and tests on an ongoing basis to make sure it stays that way.
Is the product third-party tested?
Yes. Every batch is tested for over 300 common contaminants, including glyphosate, mycotoxins, heavy metals and pesticides. The certificates of analysis are published openly by Lineage.
How are the raw materials produced and processed?
All the ingredients meet the same standard: animals grazing year-round, verified by a third party rather than by the supplier itself. Processing is kept to a minimum and the organs are freeze-dried at low temperature without heavy chemical treatment.
Do you use chemicals to turn the ingredients into powder?
No. The organs are freeze-dried at low temperature. Lineage does not break raw materials down only to build them up again.
Why does the powder clump if I stir it with a spoon?
Because there is nothing in it to prevent clumping. No lecithin, no emulsifiers, no thickeners. Use a shaker or blender and it dissolves in seconds.
When is a good time to use the powder?
When you want complete nutrition without the fuss: after training, as a meal when you are on the go, or when you simply want more protein and organ nutrition through the day.
Why not just eat real food?
Real food in whole form always comes first. Animal-Based Complete is a supplement built on top of that foundation, filling in with complete protein and the organ nutrition most people never get. Use it daily to close the gaps, or lean on it harder when everyday life leaves no room for proper meals.
Does the product contain allergens?
Yes, it contains milk. The protein comes from grass-fed milk and whey protein concentrate, and the colostrum comes from cows. It is free from soy, gluten and seed oils, however.
About Lineage Provisions
Lineage Provisions is an American brand that builds its entire range on raw materials from grass-fed, regeneratively raised animals. The thinking behind the company is simple: make protein products from what the animal actually consists of, rather than breaking raw materials down and putting them back together.

The range runs from beef sticks and air-dried steak to protein powder, collagen, creatine and raw honey. What they all share is the same requirement of the raw material: animals grazing year-round, verified by a third party rather than by the supplier itself.
Every product is tested for over 300 common contaminants and the certificates of analysis are published openly, so you can read them yourself rather than take the company’s word for it.
