Molecular hydrogen (H₂) is a gas formed when certain substances react with water. In H2 Bath the reaction takes place between magnesium and a combination of organic acids – malic acid, tartaric acid and adipic acid – as the tablet dissolves.
Unlike classic bath salts, which consist mainly of minerals, bath tablets contain a formula that actively reacts with the water and forms gas bubbles. Magnesium is a common ingredient in wellness and bath products.
When the tablet dissolves in warm water, magnesium reacts with the organic acids and molecular hydrogen forms in the bath water. Generates hydrogen (H₂) directly in the bath water.
