Product Details
Dairy-free immunoglobulin formula from Designs for Health
IgGI Shield™ is a dairy-free formula with serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin (ImmunoLin®) and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine. A dairy-free formula with serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin (SBI) and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine.
About serum-derived immunoglobulin
Serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin (SBI) is a concentrated source of immunoglobulin G (IgG) and other immunoglobulins, produced from bovine serum. Unlike colostrum, SBI is dairy-free and contains neither lactose nor casein. ImmunoLin® is a patented source of exactly this type of SBI and has been used in functional medicine for many years. Because IgGI Shield™ is entirely dairy-free, it also suits people who cannot tolerate whey- or colostrum-based alternatives.

The formula combines two ingredients: serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin (SBI) and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, an amino sugar. In functional medicine it is used as part of a broader digestive protocol rather than on its own.
Immunoglobulin powders are a small category next to probiotics and enzymes, and the two are often used together. IgGI Shield™ is dairy-free, which sets it apart from colostrum-based alternatives.

Who is IgGI Shield™ for?
IgGI Shield™ suits adults who want a dairy-free immunoglobulin supplement. It is not suitable for vegans or vegetarians, however, since it contains serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin.
What is the difference between IgGI Shield™ and colostrum?
Both colostrum and IgGI Shield™ deliver immunoglobulins, but from different sources. Colostrum comes from the first milk after calving and contains milk components. IgGI Shield™ uses serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin (ImmunoLin®), which is entirely dairy-free – so it also suits people with a sensitivity to milk protein. The product is not a replacement for medical treatment.
When during the day should I take IgGI Shield™?
IgGI Shield™ can be taken at any time, but many prefer the morning on an empty stomach so the immunoglobulins can act directly in the gut. Ideally mix it into lukewarm water for the best solubility.
How long does one jar last?
One jar contains 105 g of powder, which equals 30 servings. At one serving a day it lasts 1 month.
Can I combine it with probiotics or GI Revive®?
Yes. IgGI Shield™ is often combined with probiotics, prebiotics, GI Revive® and digestive enzymes within a complete digestive protocol. Since they all work in different ways, they are commonly used side by side.
Where and how is the product made?
IgGI Shield™ is made in the USA by Designs for Health in a facility following cGMP standards regulated by the FDA. ImmunoLin® is a patented ingredient from Entera Health and undergoes third-party testing for identity and potency.
