According to EFSA, vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system, thiamine and pantothenic acid to normal energy-yielding metabolism, vitamin D to the maintenance of normal bones and muscle function, vitamin E to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, and iron to the normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin.
The minerals are supplied in well-absorbed chelated forms (bisglycinates) and the B vitamins are high-strength. The addition of amino acids such as L-ornithine, taurine and L-glutathione gives a broad composition often used in complete multivitamins. Vitamins, chelated minerals, amino acids and plant compounds – a complete multi in one tablet.
A well-known and harmless phenomenon: vitamin B2 (riboflavin) can give urine a bright yellow colour at higher doses.
