About Solgar Ester-C Plus Effervescent 1000 mg
Ester-C® is a buffered form of vitamin C (calcium L-ascorbate) that is less acidic than ordinary ascorbic acid – something that may be preferable for sensitive stomachs. Here 1026 mg of Ester-C® is combined with B vitamins, minerals and electrolytes in an effervescent powder with a natural orange flavour.

According to EFSA, vitamins C and B12 contribute to the normal function of the immune system, vitamin B12 to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, vitamins B6 and B12 to normal energy-yielding metabolism, and vitamin B6 to the normal formation of red blood cells.
“Effervescent” means fizzing – the powder dissolves with a fizz in water and becomes an orange drink. The sweetness comes from steviol glycosides (stevia) and fructose, and the colour from beta-carotene.
