About Solgar Super Cod Liver Oil Complex
Cod liver oil is derived from fish liver and naturally contains vitamins A and D, while fish oil is derived from the flesh of oily fish and is rich in the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. This formula combines both – plus an additional DHA concentrate from tuna.
Cod liver oil strengthened with fish oil and DHA concentrate – more omega-3 than classic cod liver oil. According to EFSA, vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal vision, vitamins A and D contribute to the normal function of the immune system, and vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, to the normal absorption of calcium and phosphorus and to normal muscle function.

The result is a softgel that provides both omega-3 (202 mg EPA + 185 mg DHA) and high levels of vitamins A and D3. The fish oil concentrate comes from sardine, anchovy, mackerel and herring.
Because of the high levels of A and D, the product is not suitable for children under 11. The softgel capsule is made from bovine gelatine.
