About Solgar Fish Oil Concentrate 1000 mg
The omega-3 fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) occur naturally in oily fish and fish oil. This concentrated fish oil provides 1000 mg of oil per softgel, of which 160 mg EPA and 100 mg DHA – 260 mg of omega-3 in total per daily dose.

The fish oil is derived from non-endangered species – anchovy, sardine and mackerel – and is a practical option if you eat little or no fish. Vitamin E (natural mixed tocopherols) has been added to protect the oil from oxidation, that is, to stop the omega-3 fatty acids going rancid.
Please note that the softgel capsule is made from bovine gelatine and that the product contains fish.
