The protein comes from grass-fed whey concentrate and grass-fed collagen, not from isolate. Concentrate retains more of the milk’s natural content, and the collagen adds glycine and proline, which whey contains little of.
The berry flavour comes from organic freeze-dried blueberries, strawberries and raspberries, not from flavourings. Freeze-drying preserves both colour and acidity, which is why the bar tastes fresh rather than sweet and flat.
The sweetening comes from organic raw honey and coconut nectar rather than sugar alcohols such as erythritol and maltitol. That adds a few calories, but is gentler on the stomach. The fat comes from tallow from 100 per cent grass-fed beef.

Three things. The protein comes from grass-fed whey and collagen instead of isolate, the sweetening from real raw honey and coconut nectar instead of sugar alcohols, and the fat from grass-fed tallow instead of seed oils.
Why no sugar alcohols?
Sugar alcohols such as erythritol and maltitol are used to keep the calories down, but often cause bloating and stomach discomfort. Lineage uses raw honey and coconut nectar instead, which adds calories but is considerably gentler on the stomach.
Does it contain allergens?
Yes, milk protein in the form of whey. It is free from soy, gluten and seed oils, but is made in a facility that also handles nuts.
Do the bars need refrigerating?
No. They are stable at room temperature. Store them in a dry, cool place.
