About collagen and bioavailability

Collagen is the body’s most abundant protein and makes up a large part of skin, joints, bones, tendons and connective tissue. With age the body’s own collagen synthesis declines, which contributes to stiffer joints, less elastic skin and weaker bones. Whole Body Collagen® uses hydrolysed peptides – collagen broken down into shorter amino acid chains – which have better bioavailability than ordinary gelatine or unprocessed collagen.
