Chromium is a trace element that occurs in small amounts in foods such as wholegrains, nuts, meat, vegetables and certain herbs. This supplement provides 200 micrograms of chromium per capsule in the form of chromium picolinate (Chromax®), in which chromium is bound to picolinic acid.
According to EFSA, chromium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels and to normal macronutrient metabolism. Chromium as Chromax® picolinate – a stable and well-documented chromium compound. 200 µg of chromium per capsule (500% of RI), only 1 capsule per day.
