About Solgar Griffonia Complex 5-HTP
5-hydroxytryptophan, or 5-HTP, is formed in the body from the amino acid tryptophan. In this formula, the 5-HTP comes from seed extract of the plant Griffonia simplicifolia, standardised to 30% – which gives exactly 100 mg of 5-HTP per capsule.
According to EFSA, vitamin B6 contributes to the normal function of the nervous system and magnesium to normal psychological function.
